This is my favorite pizza in johnstown... It has been for years (use to be a fan of giovannis as a child). I order mine well done, light cheese. It comes out nice and crispy, cheese is just right to where it isnt "too light" of an amount.
Slices and pies of heaven are sold at Market Street. Their unique pizzas are always delicious, my favorite being the Spinach head. The slices are monstrous. The wings are great, and the staff are friendly. I have had better garlic knots but overall my favorite pizza place in the area
My husband and I just finished eating "a slice" here and it was delicious. In fact, I would stack it up against some of my favorite NYC pizza places! The crust was thin and crispy with fresh sauce and great quality cheese. The restaurant was "aged" to perfection. Not fancy, but clean and typical of the old style family friendly "pizza joint". Service was quick and friendly. There is no beer or wine, but perhaps you could call ahead and ask about a "BYOB" policy. I will definitely go back with friends! If you love good pizza, I suggest that you give this place a try!
Do you want a slice of heaven? This is the place to go if you are in the Johnstown/Gloversville area. With 53 specialty pizzas, appetizers to die for, wings crispy, meaty and the perfect amount of sauce, Market Street offers something for everyone. The owners are absolutely amazing and friendly, they make you feel right at home. From their homemade dough, homemade pizza sauce, and homemade dressings, it is heaven in every bite. I recommend their House Dressing, it goes with EVERYTHING!!!
I see there are not many reviews and there were a few bad reviews during covid. I'll contribute that to those reviews as things were messed up everywhere. We started buying pizza and wings from Market Street at the height of covid and never had a bad experience but it has been about 3 years of ordering other places, trying different types of pizza. Today we decided try them again and the pizza was fantastic, just the right amount of toppings, crispy crust and browned just right. The wings were larger than most and wer absolutely delicious. Needless to say we will be ordering from Market Street more often. They were also very polite on the phone and in person. And no, I am not related to them and outside of picking up pizza do not know them.
